The appearance of this mask in our collection dates back to August 1914 – the beginning of World War I.
This mask is easy to use and very efficient. It was used to deal with oedema, bruises, and abrasions of wounded soldiers, and accordingly, it is excellent for acne-prone skin.
The base of this mask is the freshwater sponge, containing a treasure trove of valuable ingredients which provide the unique qualities of our product. For instance, biogenic silica (silicon oxide) is said to improve circulation, while spongin (collagen protein) can help improve skin elasticity and reduce inflammation.
The mask contains only natural ingredients. The black colour is derived from a natural sorbent – charcoal which, along with white clay, delicately cleanses and detoxifies the skin, while the finely ground oat grains soothe the skin, preventing irritation and dehydration.
Ingredients (Powder): Spongilla lacustris spicule extract, Kaolin, Avena sativa kernel flour, Charcoal powder
