N°66 Nourishing Rosacea Ointment

The recipe evolved over time but remains rich in beneficial ingredients. Oat oil offers essential fatty acids, vitamins (A, B, C, D, E, K), and minerals, nourishing the skin and protecting its barrier. Perilla oil combats skin redness and inflammation, containing high Omega-3 levels. Chickweed oil and Plantago oil extracts provide soothing and antibacterial properties. Tamanu oil soothes, protects, and hydrates, especially for skin lesions. Rosemary, rosehip, and evening primrose extracts offer toning, regenerative, and anti-inflammatory benefits.

The original recipe for this lotion was called “Porcelain Water” for its unique ability to perform a gentle morning cleanse on freshly awakened skin. The early 19th century brought with it new rules for fashionable women of those years: the skin needed to be healthy and reflect light but be matte and translucent – like exquisite Chinese porcelain.
